🔼 Preseason Honors. The football team had 11 players earn Preseason All-Conference Team honors by Athlon Sports. The Pirates' selections by the publication were first teamers WR Brock Spalding and DL Jasiyah Robinson; second team picks OL Brandon Best, DL Kendrick DuJour and RB Ashton Gray; third teamers LB DJ Johnson Jr. and WR Landon Sides; fourth team members OL Hayes Creel, DB Ashton Levells-Mitchell, DB Kevon Merrell Jr. and DL Rion Roseborough.

High Five! The women’s golf team had five players named 2025-26 Division I All-American Scholars: Lisa Forss, Danielle Modder, Ella Stalvey, Nicole Nash and Isabella Taylor-Stokes.

This is the ## straight campaign that at least two Pirates have been named All-America Scholars in the same year.

🏴‍☠️ Anotha’ One. The swim and dive team has been named a Scholar All-America Team by the CSCAA for the 34th consecutive semester. The Pirates were one of 714 teams from 418 institutions recognized for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester. Collectively, these teams represent 16,680 student-athletes from across all collegiate divisions. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2026 grade point averages and were required to achieve a team GPA of 3.00 or higher to earn Scholar All-America recognition.
