🔼 D-UP. The American Athletic Conference named Juliana Viera the Defensive Player of the Week. Samantha Moxie was named to the weekly Honorable Mention list. Viera helped the defense to only allow four shots and one shot on goal. The Pirates secured their eighth clean sheet of the season. Moxie scored the game-winning goal on Sunday.

🏴‍☠️ Her Story. Goalkeeper Maeve English has done a lot while playing at ECU. The Greenville native is quite the star. She has started every game she’s played and only missed one match in her five years as a Pirate. English has started in more games than any other player in ECU history. She is also on track to play more minutes in goal than any player in ECU history.
