Good morning Pirates. The track and field team had two athletes break records. Here is one, and below is another!

🏀 Women beat Wichita State
🏊 2 victories in quad meet

📈 STOCK UP
🔼 Secured It. The women’s basketball team had a big win against Wichita State on Saturday. The Pirates came out with an 83-56 victory. ECU shot 44.8% from the field. Kennedy Flaunleroy led the team with 21 points. Jayla Hearp was right behind with 14 points.
🔼 OT Thriller. The men’s basketball team faced UAB on Sunday. The Pirates took UAB into overtime after tying the game at 79-79 in regulation. Jordan Riley scored a game-high 30 points and had 10 rebounds. Reid Cason tallied 12 points and 10 rebounds. Giovanni Emejuru recorded 12 points and 12 rebounds. ECU fell in overtime 87-85.

🏴☠️ Take 2. The swim and dive team competed at the Tribe Quad Meet on Friday. The Pirates beat Old Dominion 247-47, Richmond 174-125 and fell to William & Mary 208-86. Carlie Clements, Mikayla Durkin, Elena Dinehart and Sara Kalawska were the top performers in the pool. Frida Zuinga and Cecelia Bragantini starred in the diving well.
