🔼 First Spring Event. The women’s golf team completed its first competition of the spring season at the UCF Challenge. ECU finished in 13th place with a score of 898 (+34). Nicole Nash led the team in 47th place individually. She finished with a score of five over par.

🔼 Almost. The women’s basketball team took on Wichita State on Tuesday. The women dropped a confounding result to the Shockers, 63-54. The Pirates shot 38% from the field. Kennedy Fauntleroy led the team with 13 points.

Always a Pirate. Matt “Big Guy” Maloney started working at ECU as a marketing assistant. Four years later, he transitioned to working with the Pirate Club. Maloney is retiring after decades of time at ECU.
