🔼 Skilled Seven. The football team had seven players named to the 2026 Pro Football Network Preseason All-American Conference Team. Zyeir Gamble is the lone first team selection, while Jasiyah Robinson was tabbed as a second teamer. Five Pirates earned third team inclusion which include Preston Carr, Ethan Kramer, Kevon Merrell Jr., Ismael Smith Flores and Bryce Weaver.

🔼 Game 1. The soccer team fell to Liberty in its regular season opener 2-0. Goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich recorded 10 saves. The Pirates had five shots and two on goal.

Game 2. The women’s soccer team will play its second game of the regular-season against UNCG on Sunday.

ECU leads the all-time series #-#-#.

🏴‍☠️ THANK YOU! We would like to give a huge shoutout to former ECU student-athletes Kevin and Addie Miller, including their children Rylee and Sevie, for making a Legacy Gift to the Pirates Unite Campaign. The Millers' gift will support the new golf building currently under construction at Ironwood Golf & Country Club and the Isley Performance Center, a state-of-the-art facility scheduled to open later this year for use by all Pirate student-athletes.
