🔼 Congrats! On Friday, May 3, ECU had 81 current and former student-athletes receive their degrees. All 18 of ECU’s athletic programs were represented at the spring graduation. Track and field had 23 student-athletes on the graduation list, followed by lacrosse with 12 and baseball and football with 10.

🔼 Nation Known. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named right-handed pitcher Trey Yesavage the Dick Howser Trophy National Pitcher of the Month for April. He is the first Pirate to earn the award since Carson Whisenhunt in 2021. Yesavage had four starts in April, went 4-0 and recorded a 1.03 ERA. He limited his opponents to a .105 batting average while surrendering just three runs and nine hits.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Best Pitch. Trey Yesavage was just named the Dick Howser Trophy National Pitcher of the Month for April. He pitched a total of 26.1 innings and had many strikeouts.

🏴‍☠️ Guest Appearance. The softball team had some friends on the field with them at Saturday’s game. The U10 Carolina Cyclones joined the Pirates on the field for the National Anthem.
