🔼  Welcome! The baseball team hired a new pitching coach for the 2027 season. Jake Agnos joins the staff after previously being a graduate manager for the Pirates since August of 2025. Agnos is a former Pirate All-American and professional pitcher. In his time with the Pirates, he has assisted with developing more than 20 pitchers through individualized throwing programs, pitch design and mechanical adjustments.

The Pirates' selections by the publication were OL Brandon Best (first team), WR Brock Spalding (first team), DL Kendrick DuJour (second team), DL Jasiyah Robinson (second team), OL Hayes Creel (third team), WR Tyler Johnson (third team), DB Ashton Levells-Mitchell (third team), LB DJ Johnson Jr. (fourth team) and DL Rion Roseborough (fourth team).
