🔼 Coming Up. Athletic director Jon Gilbert sent out an announcement regarding many things— future football schedules, opening days for baseball and softball, new facilities, Pirate Club and more. Before all of the new info, Gilbert took a step back to recognize the achievements of the sports currently in session. The women’s swim and dive team is 9-0. Danae McNeal scored a career-high 35 points and went 15-15 from the free throw line. Royal Burris and Melissa Mouzzon put up record times in track and field’s opening meet. The Pirates rank second in the AAC in attendance for women’s games.

🏴‍☠️ Career Mark. Not only did Danae McNeal hit a career-high of 35 points in a game, she also hit a career mark of 1,000 points. She has played 65 career games at ECU and is the fourth player in program history to score 1,000 points in three or fewer seasons.

🏴‍☠️ Sparkling Queens. When we say bleed purple and gold, these women are the definition of that. The sparkling jackets are top-tier. The bedazzled Pirates basketball is the cherry on top. See for yourself here.
