Pirate Brew 10/24: A1 Muzzolon
Today, we're looking at Martina Muzzolon winning the first regional draw title in program history for women's tennis.
Good morning. It’s the best national holiday today— National Food Day. Does the holiday focus on eating healthy? Yes. Will I still eat my chicken fingers for lunch? Yes. Try to add some greens to your plate today to celebrate, though.
What else are we mixing into today's Brew?

🔼 Eight and Great. The women’s tennis team had an amazing eight-match victory at the ITA Carolina Regionals this past weekend. Martina Muzzolon got the first regional draw title in program history as she dominated the A1 singles bracket. Kim Auerswald competed heavily in the A1 singles draw but had to bow out due to an injury. That wraps up the fall season for the Pirates, and they will now look to take the court on Jan. 19.
🔼 Final Match. ECU soccer is coming down to its final days of practice before taking on Charlotte in the last matchup of the regular season. The Pirates have a trophy on the line for the first time since 2013. Ironically enough, in 2013, ECU battled Charlotte in the last game of the C-USA season for the East Division Title.
