🔼 Handful of Honors. The baseball team had five players named to the 2024 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team— Danny Beal, Carter Cunningham, Justin Wilcoxen, Dixon Williams and Trey Yesavage. Cunningham and Yesavage have also advanced to the national ballot and will be considered for the Academic All-America First, Second and Third Teams. The honor recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom.

🏴‍☠️ Perfect Run. The ECU 100m hurdle record stood at 13.31 seconds since 2015 until Sydni McMillian came around. She broke the record four times from April 19 to May 23. She made it all the way to the NCAA Outdoor Championships, where she ran a 13.03 to finish in 17th place.
