🔼 Winner Winner. The National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals named Parker Byrd the recipient of the 2024 Wilma Rudolph Student-Athlete Achievement Award. The award honors student-athletes who have overcome great personal, academic, and/or emotional odds to achieve academic success while participating in intercollegiate athletics. Byrd went through a life altering boating accident that lead to his right leg being amputated.

🔼 First Fall. The baseball team lost its first game of the American Athletic Conference Tournament against Wichita State 14-4. The Pirates weren’t able to stop the Shockers as they scored 11 runs over the sixth and seventh innings. ECU will face off with No. 8 seed Rice in an elimination game today at 1 p.m. ET.

🏴☠️ Pitchers. The American Athletic Conference named pitchers Trey Yesavage and Wyatt Lunsford-Shenkman to the All-Conference First Team. Yesavage has thrown 86 innings this season. Lunsford-Shenkman has thrown 45 innings.
🏴☠️ Fielders. The American Athletic Conference named catcher Justin Wilcoxen, outfielder/first baseman Carter Cunningham, outfielder Jacob Jenkins-Cowart and outfielder Ryley Johnson to the All-Conference First Team. See all of their stats so far this season below.
