🔼 Victory! The baseball team beat Charlotte 6-5 and will advance to play in the American Athletic Conference semifinals. The Pirates have reached the semifinal round of the league tournament without a loss for the first time since they swept through the field in 2022. The men will face either South Florida or Charlotte on Saturday 47 minutes after the 9am game. Walker Barron hit a home run, Brad Pruett earned the win on the mound and Jake Hunter got the save.
🔼 Big Accomplishment. ECU baseball head coach Cliff Godwin beat Gary Overton as the winningest coach in program history. Godwin has 428 wins after the Pirates beat Charlotte on Thursday night.

🏴☠️ Fresh Moves. The baseball team had three other players earn American Athletic Conference postseason honors. Braden Burress and Ethan Norby were selected to the All-AAC Second Team. Burress and Austin Irby were also named to the All-Freshman Team.
