🔼 Midweek Win. The baseball team beat UNC Wilmington 14-8 on Tuesday. The Pirates had a six-run eighth inning to pull away from the Seahawks. Grady Lenahan paced the Pirates, going 3-for-4 with five RBIs and two runs scored. Gavin Marley earned his first win on the mound this season.

🏴‍☠️ Best Arm. Baseball pitcher Ethan Norby was named the American Conference Pitcher of the Week. This is the second time this season an ECU player earned the honor. He pitched 7.0 innings and had a season high 12 strikeouts. Norby currently leads the conference in strikeouts with 50, with a season ERA of 3.03 and three wins. In his six appearances, he has thrown a total of 35.2 innings, being able to hold his opponents to a .255 batting average.
