🔼 Weekly Honor. The American Conference named women’s basketball player Kennedy Flauntleroy the Player of the Week. She averaged 24 points, 5 rebounds, 7.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.0 block in two ECU wins last week. Fauntleroy's 15 assist week pushed her to 33 over the last five games, the most by an ECU player since 2010.

🔼 Big Win. The women’s basketball team beat UTSA on Tuesday, 65-58. The team is off to its best start in league play in 40 years. ECU is now 6-1 in conference play for the first time since 1985-86. Keanna Rembert led the team with 21 points. Savannah Brooks was right behind with 14 points.

ECU Women’s Basketball coach Kim McNeill reflects on her 100th win with the program in this week’s edition of Inside Pirate Athletics.  WNCT Sports Director Brian Bailey joins Coach McNeill and Coach Mike Schwartz as they look ahead to the week on the road.  Bailey also talks Pirate baseball with Coach Cliff Godwin.
