📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Outstanding Victory. The baseball team scored 24 runs in its 24-3 win over William & Mary on Wednesday. This is the most runs scored in head coach Cliff Godwin’s tenure at ECU. The Pirates had 20 hits, which is the highest hit total in a single game since 2011. Braden Burress led the team with four hits. Austin Irby hit a home run. Matthew Lashley and Irby each had four RBIs.

🔼 Ruled the Court. The women’s tennis team beat Lehigh 4-3 on Wednesday. The Pirates earned the doubles point and three singles match victories.

🔼 Qualified! Swim and dive athlete Frida Zuniga has qualified for the NCAA Diving Championships, which will be held March 18-21 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga. Zuniga qualified for NCAAs for the second straight season at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships earlier this week with qualifying scores in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform dive.

🏴‍☠️ First Team. Men’s basketball player Jordan Riley was named to the American Conference First Team. Riley led the Pirates in scoring this season with 708 points, averaging 23.6 over his 30 games played. He spent the last couple of weeks in the top five nationally in points per game, including finishing the regular season as the second-leading scorer in the country.
