🔼 Diamond Wins. The baseball team won game one against Rice 4-2. Ethan Norby threw seven innings and nine strikeouts. Alex Bouche clubbed his fourth home run of the season. The Pirates won 5-3 in extra innings. Right-handed pitcher Jake Hunter is the first ECU pitcher to register a hit since 2022. The men finished out the series with an 8-5 win.

🔼 Historic Win. The lacrosse team beat Temple 11-10. This is the first time in eight tries that the Pirates beat the Owls. The game went into overtime and Riley Matthiesen scored the game-winning goal. 🥍 Here’s more about the win.
🔼 Homers! The softball team played Charlotte this past weekend. The Pirates fell in game one 11-2, won game two 15-7 and lost game three 3-5. Emma Jackson went 4-for-5 with five RBIs including three home runs in the victory.
🔼 Victory! The women’s tennis team beat Elon 4-3. The team won the doubles point and three singles matches. The Pirates also beat Hampton 7-0.
🔼 Runner-Up. The men’s golf team finished second at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate. The Pirates had a team score of 850 (-14). Four golfers finished in the top 10 individually: Holden Rucker, Philip Linberg Bondestad, Tyler DeChillis and Like Mosley.

🏴☠️ Big Ten. The track & field team competed in the 11th Annual Bill Carson Invitational. The team earned 10 event wins. Team scores were not kept for the 2025 edition of the meet. Jared Harrell won the men’s long jump. Alex Sawyer won the 800m.
