📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Great Start. The baseball team won the opening game of its series against Rice 8-2. Jacob-Jenkins Cowart hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the fourth to put the Pirates in the lead. From then on, the Pirate’s bats were hot. Justin Wilcoxen tied Carter Cunningham for the team lead in home runs with his 13th blast of the campaign. Trey Yesavage earned his 11th victory, striking out seven batters in 5.2 innings.

⚾️ Here’s more about the victory.

🔼 Big Brains. The women’s tennis team excelled in the classroom this spring semester. The Pirates had a 3.86 GPA. This is the highest GPA in program history and the highest amongst all ECU teams. Four players had a 4.0, and four players were on the Dean’s List. One player was named to the honor roll.
