📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Pirates Takeover. The men’s basketball team started the night inside Minges with a 63-52 win over UMES, where the women stepped on the court right after and did the same thing. Ezra Ausar notched a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, and Brandon Johnson did so as well with 15 points and 10 rebounds. ECU was only ahead by one point at halftime but was able to defend very well and gain a 10-point lead in the second half to take the dub.

🔼 Rule the Waters. The women’s basketball team faced Maryland Eastern Shore and proved that the Pirates rule the waters. The team took down the Eagles 72-57, and Danae McNeal led the team as she dropped 34 points. The first half was slow for the Pirates, but a big 30-point third period and 21-point fourth period helped them soar above. ECU forced 31 turnovers and scored 31 points off of the turnovers.

Brick Wall. Even though football season is over, we can still appreciate some of the stats that were put up during the season. One athlete led the Pirates with 86 total tackles.
