🔼 Started From The Bottom. Weston Wall is no new face to the Pirate softball program. Wall has been the team’s student manager for the past four seasons and was just granted the Assistant Coach and Director of Operations role this year.

The recent graduate earned his bachelor's degree in business management and will now work full-time with the softball team.

🔼 New Faces. This year, lacrosse hired Brittany Dipper as the new head coach, and she’s been busy putting together a staff for the season. Her first pick landed Grace Coon as Assistant Coach.

Coon recently just graduated from UConn, where she played attack. Her performance led her to be named Second-Team All-Big East honoree three times and IWLCA All-Region Second Team in 2021. This is her first coaching gig, and the Pirates can't wait to have her help out the draw unit and attack.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Three-peat? If soccer shuts out UNCW tonight, this could be their third shutout of the season. The Pirates were able to shut them out last season, so we are looking for them to do it again.
