🔼  Scholar and Skilled. The American Athletic Conference named Carter Cunningham the 2024 Baseball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Cunningham earned his MBA in May and finished his career with a 3.875 GPA. To be awarded, athletes are looked at on the academic side and their athletic performance. Cunningham led the Pirates in batting average, runs scored, hits and home runs.
