🔼 Big Eight. The Pirates defeated North Carolina with just eight hits to win 6-4. Morgan Johnson went 2-for-3 at the plate, including a two-run home run. Logan Sutton added two hits, including a home run. Taylor Apple pitched four innings and struck out two batters to earn the win.

🔼 Welcome Back. The Pirates took on NC State and Jacob Starling made his first appearance since April 2 and put on a show. Starling hit for the cycle to lift ECU over the Wolfpack 10-6. He hit a triple, home run, single and double all in one game. The Pirates had a total of 15 hits in front of a 6,054 fan-packed Lewis Field at Clark LeClair Stadium.

Going Up! The baseball team went up in the rankings after its sweep over Wichita State and 13-inning midweek win over William & Mary.

🏴‍☠️ Best of the Best. The American Athletic Conference named Sydni McMillan the Women’s Track Athlete of the Week. McMillan shattered the 100m hurdles program record at the Wake Forest Invitational and did so again at the Aggie Classic.

🏴‍☠️ Weekly Honor. The American Athletic Conference named women’s lacrosse player Brynn Knight to the Honor Roll after an incredible performance this past weekend against Old Dominion. Knight had 11 saves and played the full 60 minutes.
