🔼 Fighting Hard. The volleyball started its weekend at the Clemson Tournament with a 3-2 win over Appalachian State. Taryn Gilreath earned her first double-double of the season with 38 assists and 10 digs. Ellie Pate led the team with 14 kills. ECU’s four-match win streak came to an end when they fell to Clemson 3-1. Pate led the team again with 14 kills. The Pirates ended the tournament against UNC Greensboro. ECU took the Spartans to five sets, but fell 3-2. Pate had a match-high 25 kills.

🔼 Season Opener. The cross country team opened its season at Elon’s Friday Night Lights meet. The women finished in seventh with 219 points. Kiley Mann led the Pirates with a 24th place finish in the 4k. The men finished in 10th with 282 points. Judah Lacroix finished in fifth place in the 6k.
