She also earned First Team All-Conference accolades, was named to the All-Defensive Team and was a unanimous selection to the All-Newcomer Team while senior forward Keanna Rembert earned Third Team All-Conference recognition as well.

🔼 Shutout! The baseball team shut out Old Dominion 11-0 on Tuesday in seven innings. ECU had 10 hits. Jack Herring led the way at 2-for-2 at the plate and three RBIs. Carlos Jacome hit a two-run homer to walk off the game. Ryan Towers picked up the win on the mound after throwing 4.0 innings.

🔼 Three Down. The men’s golf team finished the 29th Annual Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in sixth place. The Pirates shot 857 (+17). Philip Linberg Bondestad led the men in 14th place individually. He shot 211 (+1). This marks his fifth top 15 finish of the season.

🔼 Qualified! Swim and dive athlete Frida Zuniga has qualified for three events! She will compete in the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform dive during the NCAA Swim and Dive Championship.

🏴‍☠️ Tossing it Up. Softball player Sydney Rainford was named the American Conference Pitcher of the Week. This marks the second straight season that a Pirate freshman pitcher has earned the honor. Rainford earned two complete shut out wins over Wichita State. She only allowed four hits in 12 innings while tossing three strikeouts.
