The baseball team won the series against George Mason 2-1.

Good morning. The Pirates gave us the best Valentine’s Day weekend a fan could ask for, with lots of wins. See all the ECU dubs below!

🔼 The Start. The baseball team opened its season against George Mason. The Pirates won the series 2-1. They fell 7-3, won 4-3 and won 4-3. Dixon Williams hit a home run in games one and two. Alex Bouche and Alex Peltier hit home runs in game three to help the Pirates win the series.

🔼 Handled. The women’s basketball team beat Charlotte 63-45. Amiya Joyner had a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. It was her 10th double-double and 36th of her illustrious career.

🔼 Pirate Clash. The softball team finished the Pirate Clash tournament this past weekend. The women fell to Radford 6-5, beat No. 22 Boston University 1-0 and 4-1 and fell to UMBC 4-3. Emma Jackson had the lone RBI for the Pirates to beat BU. She hit a solo home run in game two against the Terriers. Kendall Frost picked up three wins in the circle.

🔼 Court Report. The women’s tennis team beat Campbell 6-1. The women had two doubles wins and five singles wins against Campbell.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Dub! The men’s basketball team beat Charlotte 75-69.

_____ scored a game-high 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting from behind the arc.

🏴‍☠️ Records Broken. The track and field team competed at the Tiger Paw Invitational and the D1 Pre-Nationals. Four program records are set with several victories and program top 10s in between. Terence Booth Jr., Kailey Elliott and Kelley Ufodiama broke records.
