🔼 Victory! The football team won its first conference game of the season 28-6 against Army. Katin Houser, Anthony Smith, Jayvontay Conner and Kyler Pearson made it to the end zone. The Pirates tallied 431 offensive yards compared to Army’s 290. Houser connected on 15 of 22 attempts for 251 yards and two touchdowns.

🔼 Selected. Women’s soccer player Maeve English has been selected as one of the two American Conference’s two nominees for the NCAA’s prestigious Woman of the Year award. She is the second ECU athlete ever to advance beyond institutional nomination since 2000.

🏴‍☠️ First Honor. Former ECU baseball player Trey Yesavage was named the Blue Jays Minor League Player of the Year. He completed 98 innings over 25 outings for Low-A Dunedin, High-A Vancouver, Double-A New Hampshire and Triple-A Buffalo. His 160 strikeouts rank seventh-most among minor league pitchers.
