🔼 Huge Dub. The football team beat N.C. Central 42-9 on Saturday. TJ Engleman Jr. (3) , Michael Allen, Kanen Hamlett and Ayden Duncanson scored touchdowns. Duncanson had a 20yd pick six. The Pirates had 148 rushing yards and 341 passing yards. Emory Williams went 25-for-36 with three touchdowns. The defense recorded eight sacks.

🔼 Big Win. The volleyball team recorded one of its biggest wins of the season so far. ECU beat Rice 3-1. The victory marked ECU's first win over the Owls since 2007 and snapped the 8-0 overall record Rice had held over the Pirates, with this victory being the first in program history in Tudor Fieldhouse. It also gave the Pirates a 2-0 start in American Conference play for the first time since joining the league in 2014. Ellie Pate led the team with 15 kills and 11 digs. Angeles Alderete followed with 14 kills and 20 digs. Taryn Gilreath also had a double-double with 16 digs and 44 assists. The three double-doubles marked the first time ECU has had three players accomplish the feat in the same match since 2013 against FIU.
