🔼 Huge Win. The football team beat UTSA 30-20 in its conference opener. The Pirates had 341 total yards. Noah Perez kicked three good field goals while Jake Garcia, Winston Wright Jr., Anthony Smith and Brandon High made it to the end zone.

🔼 Weekend Win. The volleyball team started its weekend with a 3-1 win over Florida Atlantic. The Pirates notched a win in their AAC opener for the first time since joining the league prior to the 2014 season. Three hitters finished with double-digit kills, marking the second time that has occurred this season. The women, unfortunately, were not able to beat South Florida and lost 3-0.

🏴‍☠️ Explosive Win. The soccer team shut out North Texas 3-0. Sydney Schnell scored twice, and Abby Sowa scored off of a penalty kick. Maeve English made seven total saves. This was the most by a Pirate since Oct. 24, 2021, when she made the same amount of saves in a 2-1 win over Memphis. The shutout was English’s 26th of her career.
