🔼 Huge Win. The football team beat Temple 45-14 on Saturday. The Pirates had a total of 614 yards. That is the 6th most all-time total yards on the road in program history. The Pirates held Temple to season lows in five categories. Yannick Smith, Anthony Smith, Mike Wright Jr., London Montgomery and Marlon Gunn Jr. made it to the end zone. ECU is now 5-3 overall and 3-1 in conference play.

🔼 Honored. The soccer team had three players earn American Conference postseason honors. Caitlen-Star Dolan Boodram and Isabella Gutiérrez earned All-Conference Second Team honors. Gia Spinetti earned an All-Freshman Team selection. Dolan Boodram posted 15 points on a team-leading five goals and five assists. Gutiérrez started in all 17 games. Spinetti played 1,473 minutes.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Dive In. The swim and dive team competed against Barton and Lynchburg on Saturday. The Pirates beat Lynchburg 226-36 and Barton 228-39. Frida Zuniga set the Minges Pool record in the 3-meter dive.

🏴‍☠️ Speedy. The cross country team wrapped up the regular season at the American Conference Championships. Abrielle Schweitzer led the team with a time of 20:59.2. She finished 15th overall and earned an All-Conference honor. As a team, the women finished 7th overall. The men finished 11th, and Alex Sawyer led the team with a time of 24:52.4.
