🔼 Strong Start. The volleyball team played its first match of the No Quarter Invitational. The Pirates swept Old Dominion 3-0 on Thursday. Ellie Pate led the team with 13 kills. Brooklyn Allison had three aces. ECU closed out the match with a .284 hitting percentage.

🔼 Tied Up. The soccer team tied Tulsa 1-1 on Thursday. Caitlen-Star Dolan Boodram scored in the second half. This was her second of the season. ECU had nine shots and three shots on goal. Goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich had two saves.

🔼 Immediate News. Baseball head coach Cliff Godwin is taking an immediate leave of absence from his coaching duties to address personal matters. In Godwin's absence, associate head coach Jeff Palumbo and assistant to the head coach Jason Dietrich will oversee the program. Palumbo is in his 12th year as a member of the Pirates coaching staff and seventh as an associate head coach – a position he was elevated to on July 22, 2019. Dietrich returned to Greenville in 2026 as assistant to the head coach after five seasons as head coach at his alma mater, Cal State Fullerton. He spent the 2020 and 2021 seasons as pitching coach for the Pirates.
