🔼 Dominate. The volleyball team beat Charlotte 3-0 in its American Conference opener on Wednesday. Ellie Pate led the team with her eighth career double-double with 13 kills and 11 digs. Angeles Alderete followed with 11 kills. Aulie Huff and Kai Bailey added 10 kills each.

🔼 Victory! The soccer team beat UTSA 1-0 on Thursday. Alyssa Tucker scored the game-winning goal in the first half. This marks ECU’s first win of American Conference play. The Pirates are now 2-2-6 overall and 1-0-1 in American play. The women had eight shots and two shots on goal. Goalkeeper Olivia Dietrich had six saves for her fourth clean sheet of the year.

🔼 First Practice. The men’s basketball team held its first official practice of the 2026-27 season. The Pirates have 12 new faces on the team, including five players entering their first year of college basketball. ECU returns three players from last year's team in Jayshayne Woodard, Eli DeLaurier and Daithi Quinn.
