🔼 Lucky #7. The ECU football team was picked seventh in the 2024 American Athletic Conference Preseason Media Poll. The Pirates and Rice tied for seventh place with 219 points each. Army is new to the conference this season since SMU’s departure.

🏴‍☠️ Welcome! The softball teams adds two new Pirates to the roster. Chloe Geijer was recently at Indiana for two seasons and Lincoln-Way East prior. She played in 28 games and started in four of them. Trinity Nichols competed at Syracuse in her first two collegiate seasons. She missed the entire 2024 season but played 18 games and started in 14 as a freshman in 2023.
