🔼 Shutout! The football team had a huge victory on Saturday. The Pirates shut out Coastal Carolina 38-0. The team scored 10 points in the first quarter, seven in the third and 21 in the fourth. It was a career night for receiver Anthony Smith, recording a career high 11 receptions and 136 receiving yards. Katin Houser completed 28 of 37 passes for 239 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The Pirates forced five turnovers and had a total of 497 yards. Yannick Smith, Nick Mazzie, Parker Jenkins, Mike Wright Jr. and TJ Engleman Jr. all made it to the end zone.

🔼 Even Weekend! The volleyball team beat William & Mary 3-1. Ellie Pate led the team with 19 kills. Aulie Huff and Sydney Buchanan each had 14 kills. Overall, the Pirates had a hitting percentage of .338 compared to the Tribe’s .173. ECU then faced Liberty and fell in a tight 3-2 game. Kai Bailey led the team with 13 kills.
