🔼 First Dub! The football team won its first game of the season against Old Dominion. The Pirates won 20-17 on Saturday. Ja’Keith Hamilton and Ayden Duncanson each scored touchdowns. Duncanson recorded a 67yd pick-six. Noah Perez made two field goals. ECU put in two quarterbacks throughout the game. Mitch Griffis went 4-for-12 for 58 yards. Emory Williams went 5-for-7 for22 yards. Jason Dickerson went 1-for-1 for 25 yards and a touchdown. TJ Engleman Jr. rushed for 99 yards on 16 carries, both career-bests.

🔼 Tourney Wrapped Up. The volleyball team wrapped up the No Quarter Tourney this past weekend. On Friday, the Pirates lost its first home match of the season to Maryland 3-0. Allie Huff and Ellie Pate led the team with 10 kills each. The women finished off strong with a 3-0 win over Campbell on Saturday. Huff and Pate led the team again with nine kills each. Huff added two service aces.
