📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Two Halves Make A Whole. Elon may have gotten the first goal but they didn’t get the last laugh as East Carolina won 2-1 in their first exhibition match of the preseason in Johnson Stadium.

And the best part? It was two newcomers who scored the goals—Keyera Wynn squeezed the ball past the goalie while Emma Sheehan was wide open and had time to place her shot perfectly.

🔼 Drip Alert. Volleyball just got their gear in for this season and (as the kids say) it goes extremely hard. Everything about ECU is represented—they’ve got our area code on one shirt and “No Quarter” printed on the volleyball not to mention PeeDee The Pirate front and center.

In just eight days, you can see the uniforms in person at their match against Elon.

🔼 Pads On. Time to tackle. The clock is ticking and the first football game is just 24 days away. The team is at full speed now with their pads on. Coach Mike Houston made sure players knew that this is a team sport where everybody is accountable for everybody else.

🏴‍☠️ Gear Up. There are 127 football players and a lot fewer equipment staff to get all of the gear ready for practices and games. Let’s take some time to appreciate all of the hard work the staff puts in to keep the team safe on the field. Check out their Instagram for more behind the scenes.

🏴‍☠️ Calling Plays. From playing the game to coaching it, ECU alum Terrell Williams will have a headset on at the Titans vs. Bears game. Williams is currently the assistant head coach for defense/defensive line and will act as head coach during the exhibition game.
