Good morning. With football having some downtime, we are connecting with athletes to share their personal stories about their sports journeys. Make sure to follow us on X to see more!

What else are we mixing into today's Brew?

👟 10 event wins
🏊 Regular season complete
🏴‍☠️ And much, much more!

📈 STOCK UP

🔼 10 Wins, 2 Records. Track and field competed at the Camel City Invite and posted 10 event wins, and two athletes made their way into the record book. Carlmelo Martin ran a 6.75 60m to put him a No. 10 in program history. That was just his second collegiate meet also! It was also Shakiel Dacre’s second meet, and he threw a 16.75m shot put to tie himself with No. 6 in program history.

🔼 Close to Perfect. The swim and dive team completed its regular season with a 10-1 record. Just this past weekend, the women had their first and only loss against Georgia Tech 196-101 but beat Carson-Newman 232-61. Kaylee Hamblin was first in the 100 breaststroke and second in the 200 breaststroke against Georgia Tech and claimed first in both events against Carson-Newman.

ECU claimed first in 14 swim events and two dive events against Carson-Newman. Frida Zuniga Guzman placed first in the one and three-meter dives.
