🔼 Strong Defense. RII Sports Technology named football head coach Blake Harrell the 2024 Graphite Award winner for defensive play calling in the American Athletic Conference. Before becoming the head coach, Harrell was in his fourth year as the defensive coordinator. His Play Calling Efficiency Rating was 82.9% in 2024.

🏴‍☠️ Conference Honors. After the men’s basketball team had a huge win over South Florida, the American Athletic Conference named Jordan Riley to the weekly Honorable Mentions. Riley recorded a career-high 27 points in the game.
