Professional softball players will once again be making their way to Greenville, North Carolina, this August for the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL) Pro Game at the Little League Softball® World Series (LLSWS), Presented by DICK’S Sporting Goods.

🔼  First Timer. Baseball player Jack Herring was named a College Sports Academic All-American on the Third Team. Herring graduated with a bachelor's in communications back in May, holding a respectable 3.95 GPA in his time at ECU. The right-fielder led the Pirates in several offensive categories, including slugging percentage (.565), OPS (1.050), RBI (51) and doubles (17). His disciplined approach at the plate also helped him lead the American Conference and rank 13th nationally with 54 walks during the season.

🏴‍☠️ New Pirates. The swim and dive team has 11 newcomers on the 2026-27 roster! The incoming group is made up of 10 swimmers and one diver while the Pirates return 16 swimmers and divers from last year's team. There are many swimmers who are from out of the country: England, Germany, New Zealand, Scotland, Hungary and Ukraine.
