🔼 Selected. Football player Karson Jones was named to the 2026 Allstate Wuerffel Trophy Watch List. The award recognizes college football players from across the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) who exemplify community service, academic excellence and athletic achievement. In community, he has volunteered at the Joy Soup Kitchen, participated in the Ignite Church Hurricane Relief Project, helped box packages for military members stationed abroad and has visited local elementary schools and hospitals.
🔼 Tie Match. The soccer team tied UNCG 2-2 on Sunday. Anna Miotto and Caitlen-Star Dolan Boodram each scored. The Pirates had seven shots and four on goal. Olivia Dietrich and Sydney Steinberg each played 45 minutes in goal, had two saves and allowed a goal. ECU’s next match is at home on Thursday!

🏴☠️ Always Developing. ECU’s Paris Masaracchia was one of the 26 coaches selected to take part in the IWLCA Aspire Assistant Coach Development Program. Aspire, which launched in 2024, was designed to align with the IWLCA's vision to offer an intensive, high-quality continuing education opportunity for current assistant coaches. This Aspire class features two cohorts of 13 coaches each for 2026-27. Masaracchia was hired in June to be part of the lacrosse staff.
