🔼 Honored. Men’s basketball player Jordan Riley was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches South Atlantic District Second Team. Riley is the fifth Pirate to be named to an NABC All-District team. He led East Carolina and the American Conference in scoring with 23.6 points per game while adding six rebounds and 1.9 steals per game. He scored 30 or more points in an American Conference single-season record seven games and was the first Pirate since Anton Gill in 1994 to score 40 points in a game.

East Carolina baseball coach Cliff Godwin is back on campus to give students a ride to class while educating them on Pirate baseball in the first episode of this season's Cliff's Cab.
