🔼 Jumping For Joy. Jared Harrell represented East Carolina well at the most recent 2023 USATF U20 Championships—earning top-10 finishes men's long jump and triple jumps by weekend’s end.

🔼 Four Scored. East Carolina women's golfers Caroline Hermes, Oda Sofie Kilsti, Andrea Miralles Llopis, and Danielle Modder have been named Division I All-American Scholars. With the quartet's selections, it marks the 19th-straight year that at least two Pirates have been named All-America Scholars in the same year, dating all the way back to 2005.

Caroline Hermes and Oda Sofie Kilsti earned their third career selections, while Andrea Miralles Llopis and Danielle Modder are first time honorees.

This former Pirate appeared in 54 career games, caught 234 passes for 3,011 yards, hauled in 18 career touchdown passes, caught at least one pass in 40 games, and last season earned All-American Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors.

🏴‍☠️ East Carolina To Host 2023 American Cross Country Championships: East Carolina has been named the host site for the 2023 American Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships on Octover 28 at Overton's Lake Kristi.

🏴‍☠️ Trey Yesavage Collects Fourth All-America Honor: East Carolina pitcher Trey Yesavage has been named a Baseball America and D1Baseball Second Team All-American. These are the third and fourth All-America accolades for the right-hander this season following Second Team recognition by the NCBWA and Perfect Game. He is also the 13th All-America honoree in head coach Cliff Godwin's nine-year tenure.

🏴‍☠️ Volleyball Completes 2023 Roster With Pair Of Newcomers: Lara Uyar and Tuana Yuce will attend East Carolina University and compete for the volleyball program beginning with the 2023 campaign. Both student-athletes hail from Turkey—joining Canada native Tia Shum to give the Pirates three international players. Uyar also arrives in Greenville after playing two seasons at fellow American Athletic Conference institution Wichita State.
