📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Victory! The lacrosse team beat Elon 12-9 on Saturday. The Pirates scored five goals in the third quarter and two in the fourth quarter to take the lead and win. Rachel Chessock led the team with four goals. Kayla Wilkes had two goals.

🔼 The Clash. The softball team hosted the Pirate Clash this past weekend. ECU beat James Madison 6-4 but fell to Towson 2-0 on Friday. On Saturday, the Pirates beat Towson 4-3 and St. Bonaventure 9-1. The women fell on Sunday to James Madison 7-5 to close out the tournament.

🔼 Ranked Win. The baseball team beat No. 10 North Carolina 10-3 on Saturday after falling 10-0 in eight innings on Friday. This gave the Tar Heels their first loss of the season. Sean Jenkins earned the win on the mound. Grady Lenahan hit his first home run of the season. On Sunday, the game ended in a 3-3 tie due to the weather stopping the game after five innings. This is the first tie due to inclement weather since 2016.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Overtime. The women’s basketball team took Rice into overtime and fell 60-58.

Anzhané Hutton led the team with ## points.

🏴‍☠️ Champ Results. The swim and dive team wrapped up competition at the American Conference Championship. On day three, Frida Zuniga broke the Championship record and won the 3-meter diving event. Carlie Clements earned silver in the 100 backstroke.
