🔼 Season Opener. The lacrosse team opened its season against Queens on Sunday. The Pirates beat the Royals 15-4. Katelyn Sclafani and Riley Matthiesen each had four goals. Jaime Behar had eight saves in goal.

🔼 Season Starts. The softball team opened its season at the Buzz Classic. The team split day one with a 1-0 victory over Villanova, and a 9-1 loss against Alabama. The Pirates beat Villanova for a second time on Saturday, 11-4.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

Streak! The men’s basketball team took on Temple on Saturday. The Pirates fell 81-73. Jordan Riley scored a game-high 32 points.

🏴‍☠️ Record Broken! The track and field team competed at the Carolina Classic on Saturday. Abrielle Schweitzer finished third in the mile with a time of 4:49:71, breaking ECU’s program record that has been held since 2011. Kelly Ufodiama took second in the 200m. For the men, Alex Sawyer crossed first in the mile.
