🔼  Welcome! The lacrosse team named Paris Masaracchia as the new assistant coach. Masaracchia recently spent four years playing at Clemson University. She set the school record for ground balls (113) while registering 100 career turnovers and 95 draw controls. She was an instrumental part of a Tiger program that tallied 52 wins, secured a pair of second round NCAA appearances and made four consecutive quarterfinal and two-straight semi-final appearances in the Atlantic Coast Conference Tournaments.

🤔 PIRATES TRIVIA

NCAA Program. The NCAA selected 21 administrators across all three divisions for the 2026-27 Pathway Program. It is a yearlong initiative to prepare senior-level athletics administrators for their next career step as directors of athletics or conference commissioners. ECU’s Alex Keddie was selected for the program.

🏴‍☠️ On Deck. The women’s golf team released its 2026-27 schedule! The Pirates start competition on Aug. 24 at the Tiger Classic. ECU will host the Pirate Collegiate Classic and Ironwood Invitational. The final fall event is Oct. 19-20. The spring season picks up on Feb. 1-3 and ends May 21-26.
