The lacrosse team beat Gardner-Webb for a Valentine's Day victory.

Good morning. We’ve said it before, and we will say it again, y’all are the best fans ever. ECU football fans purchased 3,000 more season tickets in the first week of sales than in the previous two years. We also have 230 new season ticket buyers so far! 🔼 Late Attack. The women’s lacrosse team took down Gardner-Webb 17-6 for its second win of the season. ECU scored six runs in both the second and fourth quarters. Madeleine Saucier and Riley Matthiesen each had their first career goals. Kayla Wilkes led the team with five goals.

🔼 Low Cooking. The women’s basketball team tried its best to come back in the third period, but Rice held the lead, and the Pirates lost 75-57. Danae McNeal led with 22 points, and Amiya Joyner was right behind with 19.

We like our Brew hot n’ fresh. But we’re not opposed to you reheating your cup. Here’s some news you may have missed recently…

🏴‍☠️ Big Numbers. The ECU softball team played six games in its opening weekend. The team had a +47 run differential overall. The Pirates scored 54 runs total and only allowed seven runs. They had three back-to-back-to-back shutouts, too.

🏴‍☠️ Weekly Honor. The American Athletic Conference named Brandon Johnson to the weekly Honor Roll. Johnson recently got 30 points in the game against UTSA. This is his career-high when it comes to points in a game.
