📈 STOCK UP

🔼 Two for Two. The Pirates took down South Florida 2-0, and the two athletes who scored the goals were named to the American Athletic Conference’s Weekly Honors. Abby Sowa was named Defensive Player of the Week, and Lucy Fazackerley was named Rookie of the Week. The dub was ECU’s first-ever win against the Bulls. This is Sowa’s third weekly honor of her career and Fazackerley’s second honor of the season.

🔼 First Pair. The doubles duo, Ines Bachir and Alisha Hussain were selected to compete at the ITA All-America Championships. The pair played their first match against Kansas State and won 8-2 but fell to the University of Wisconsin, Madison, 8-2. Bachir and Hussain marked the first ECU athletes to attend the event since 2019. Up next, the whole team will compete at the Liberty Hidden Duals starting Oct. 7.

🏴‍☠️ Fall Ball. It's time to get on the diamond and get some reps in before the season starts in spring. ECU baseball has two fall games, along with the Purple Gold World Series. Make sure to come to scope out the team this month.

🏴‍☠️ Tick-tok. Just two months away is the men’s basketball Florida Tip-Off game. The Pirates take on Florida on Dec. 14, and there's an update on where you can watch the game. The game will be shown on the SEC Network at 7 p.m.
