🔼  Fall in Florida. The men’s basketball team is headed to Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Fla., from Nov. 21-23 to compete in the Boardwalk Battle. Joining the Pirates will be Jacksonville State, James Madison, La Salle, Stetson, Toledo, UC San Diego and UIC. The men will take on Jacksonville State in the opening round on Nov. 21 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

🏴‍☠️ Here To Help. The American Athletic Conference named Carter Cunningham the 2024 Community Impact Award recipient. The award recognizes a student-athlete who made an impact surrounding or on the campus community through service work.

Cunningham spearheaded the creation of the Homers That Help Foundation. The money raises funds for the James and Connie Maynard Children’s Hospital. He secured sponsors for all 33 ECU home games in less than 24 hours. The foundation has raised over $30,000 to date.
