🔼 First Dub. The women’s soccer team played its season-opening game against NC State and won 1-0. Abby Sowa scored her first goal of the season, heading in a free kick from Juliana Viera. Maeve English was in goal for the Pirates and had three saves in the full 90 minutes.

Walk On. The football team will have walk-on tryouts this week. You must be enrolled as a full-time ECU student and have your sickle cell results and a physical from the last six months to try out. Forms must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Aug. 21 to the football offices in the Ward Sports Medicine Building.

🏴‍☠️ Mark the Calendar! The men’s basketball team released its 2024-25 non-conference schedule! The team will play 13 non-conference games. Competition will begin on Nov. 9 against Coastal Carolina. The final game will be on Dec. 21 against Gardner-Webb.
