🔼 First Dub. The men’s basketball team won its season opener against N.C. Wesleyan 97-70. RJ Felton scored a game-high 22 points. C.J. Walker recorded a career-high 21 points and had 12 rebounds. ECU’s biggest lead of the night was 37 points early in the second half. The 65 points scored in the first half are the most points scored a half in program history. This was the 25th straight season-opener Monday night win.

🔼 Moving On. The soccer team played its first game of the American Athletic Conference Tournament against Charlotte and won 1-0 in double-overtime. Erica Roberts scored the winning goal. It was also her first goal of her collegiate career. The Pirates will play the winner of South Florida vs. North Texas on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.

🔼 Titles. The women’s tennis team competed at the Liberty Hidden Duals. Ines Bachir and Xenia Jeromin claimed the doubles title. Bachir also claimed the singles title. Bachir went undefeated in singles. Overall, ECU had five doubles wins and 12 singles wins.
