🔼 20 Up. The women’s basketball team outshot Hampton by 20 points for a final score of 75-55 for the win. The team had a lot of help from the 6,166 fans who showed up for the Education Day game. Danae McNeal wanted the ball, and she got it any time she had the chance. She put up seven steals for her 10th five-plus steal performance at ECU. McNeal also led the team with 31 points.

🔼 Best Handful. Five ECU football players were selected to the All-American Athletic Conference First and Second Teams at the conclusion of the season. Julius Wood was named to the First Team, D’Anta Johnson and Shavon Revel were named to the Second Team, and Jeremy Lewis and Chad Stephens were named to the Third Team. This is the second most selections for ECU under head coach Mike Houston.
