The men's basketball team beat UAB 82-75.

Good morning. Mark the Calendar! The 40th annual Pigskin Pig-Out Party is set for April 25-26! The event will have the best barbecue, tailgating and carnival games. The Purple & Gold spring game will be on April 26 at 12pm.

🔼 20:20 Vision. The men’s basketball team beat UAB 82-75. C.J. Walker had 29 points and five rebounds. RJ Felton also scored 20+ points with 23 total. The Pirates shot .526 from the field, .400 from behind the arc and .737 at the charity stripe.

🔼 Golden Boy. The American Athletic Conference named C.J. Walker the Player of the Week for men’s basketball. Walker scored 28 points and grabbed 10 rebounds off the bench in ECU’s 80-79 win at UTSA. He also hit the game-winning shot with just four seconds left.

🔼 Two Titles. The women’s basketball team had two athletes earn American Athletic Conference weekly honors. Devin Hagemann was named Freshman of the Week. She had a career-best eight assists against Tulsa. Amiya Joyner earned Player of the Week after starting the week with a double-double of 22 points and 11 assists against UAB and scoring 21 points against Tulsa.

Weekly Honor. Two athletes on the lacrosse team earned American Athletic Conference weekly awards.

🏴‍☠️ Double Threat. The National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association named Ryley Johnson and Ethan Norby Third Team Preseason All-Americans. Johnson did not commit an error in 142 defensive chances last season while starting 60 games in center field. Norby went 4-0 last season with a 3.79 ERA, two saves and 63 strikeouts in 59.1 innings of work.
